Star Wars - Opening Scroll

The now classic opening scroll from STAR WARS. Long out of date even in 1977, but a simple and effective way to pull the audience into the story, especially thanks to John William’s fantastic STAR WARS THEME and George Lucas’s then extravagant idea to produce the sound in Dolby Stereo.

Typical!
Before the story even starts, there is bias and prejudice.
The Empire works hard to give order to the galaxy, but it is condemned as evil right from the start, so the audience doesn’t even have the choice to make up their own mind.
And the rebels - and that’s what they are - outlaws, pirates, rebels - are glorified for no reason.
Who is evil here?
