R2D2 heads into a rocky area on Tatooine - alone.

But he is not really alone in this desert area. He is being watched by Jawas - the scavangers of the Tatooine deserts.

They are small, covered in robes with hoods, and totally cowardish.
The only thing you can see of them are their maliciously glowing eyes.

Cowards they are, but brave enough to take on a single little droid - when they are in great numbers and
can attack in an ambush. They zap R2D2.

Artoo is disabled …

… and drops to the ground.

After the jawas are sure R2D2 is really disabled, they transport him to their vehicle - the sandcrawler.
